Forgettable

Roy’s performance in the WBC vs. Japan? Forgettable. It was looking like Pearl Harbor out there Roy. Let’s move on, and get you back to Kissimmee where we’ll forget all about it. I certainly hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. Another sloppy start in store for the Wizard this year? Yikes. He had that “apologetic” look on his face as he was getting pummeled. So the Japan team is on their way to another WBC finals with a chance to win it again. I guess they really dig this WBC thing. Yep, I’m back in the “don’t care about the WBC” mode. Although I must admit, I’d rather watch some of the WBC games than the messy Spring Training games that are filled with errors and no names that won’t be on the roster once the real games begin. Those no names come sliding in for the later innings too, just to give you an extra chance of losing. One more reason not to be too concerned with your ST record (unless you’ve lost like 16, that’s just crazy.)

I’ll be flying in to Orlando on Saturday and I’ll be watching the game on Sunday. I’m not sure how the rotation will shake out by then, but with all due respect, I hope it isn’t Wandy on the mound. That is the only guy I’m not interested in seeing pitch. Sorry. With that being said, I’m sure it will be him on the mound. ;) Of course, I hope his fingernail gets better real soon. YES, I know that can be painful.

The highly anticipated WBC (take two)

I’m loving me some WBC. A WBC classic? Maybe. The USA team was pumped up, and I was on the edge of my seat thinking Wright would deliver, and he did. Yes I expected him to because he was on my fantasy team once, so we’re tight. Now? I’m looking forward to watching this team face off against the Venezuelan team. BRING IT!! I’ll back off trashing the WBC from here on out. I think.

THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED World Baseball Classic

I was actually looking forward to watching the Wizard pitch last night. The ESPN commentators basically said Davey Johnson is going to get 5 innings from Roy Oswalt. It was predetermined, I fear. Thankfully, he didn’t get 5 innings or the 70 pitch count limit (he reached 65.) Davey was trying to suck the life out of him, but he was getting lit up so badly, he finally pulled the plug. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Roy be so obvious that he didn’t have his best stuff. I could clearly see it, and I’m sure the couple hundred viewers watching the WBC could too. Does Davey know how to read body language? I’m sure he can when he gives a rat’s ***. Bottom line, I’m not liking the WBC. I watched until he pulled Roy, and my wife said it was time for Desperate Housewives. So for all you DH’ers out there, we have some hot “girl on girl” action next week. It has been written that both actresses had fun doing the scene. Too much fun maybe?
